">H&R Agri-Power is seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing mid-level and advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on farm equipment.
">About the Role
">The successful candidate will possess a strong background in diesel engine repair and heavy machinery maintenance. You will be expected to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, using your advanced mechanical knowledge to ensure that equipment is returned to full operational condition.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Inspect and identify mechanical defects on farm equipment, determining the extent of repairs necessary. ">
- Determine appropriate vendor information and navigate data bases to retrieve technical manuals, schematics, and procedures. ">
- Analyze and comprehend technical manuals, schematics, drawings, procedures, and government regulations. ">
- Repair and/or replace components of diesel engines' hydraulics, AC systems, Electrical and Suspension systems, drive trains, steering, material handling, and operator comfort systems. ">
- Perform periodic maintenance, as needed, by lubing, checking, and filling fluids, replacing proper pieces and parts to ensure equipment remains in optimal condition. ">
- Communicate with customers regarding prices, unforeseen repairs, and time frames for each task being completed. ">
Requirements and Qualifications
">- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. ">
- 3 years of experience as a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Tech. ">
- Ability to apply logic and critical thinking to solve problems. ">
- Ability to clearly communicate in written and verbal forms with co-workers and customers. ">
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. ">
