Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at H&R Agri-Power. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing mid-level and advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty equipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and identify mechanical defects on heavy-duty equipment.
- Determine the appropriate course of action to repair or replace components of diesel engines' hydraulics, AC systems, electrical and suspension systems, drive trains, steering, material handling, and operator comfort systems.
- Carry out all mid-level and/or advanced repairs to ensure that equipment is returned to full mechanical and technical operation.
- Perform periodic maintenance tasks, such as lubricating, checking, and filling fluids, replacing parts, and ensuring equipment remains in optimal condition.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Technician.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to navigate a computer and use basic software applications.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
