What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compensation Analyst position at H&R Block Management, LLC?
What will you bring to the team
Work with business units or support departments to implement and administer various Total Reward Programs which could include incentives, base pay, annual compensation planning and equity. Partner with Compensation team to understand business needs and work to provide solutions or recommend changes to compensation programs. Review process documentation and update, as necessary. Work independently, at the direction of the manager of the team.
- Work with the Total Rewards team to assist in the design and administation of programs for salary, incentive structures and pay policies
- Complete market surveys and work with team to evaluate jobs to establish job grades. This could include job analysis, evaluation, and classification.
- Identify process improvement opportunities. Document current processes and develop recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct other business analyses, studies, and projects as requested.
- Prepare and maintain job descriptions for all positions in the organization; ensure job descriptions accurately reflect the work being completed
- Assist with annual compensation planning administration
- Partner with management to effectively address unique situations or needs.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
Work Experience:
- Knowledge of ADA and FLSA rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of human resources principles, practices and techniques.
- MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Self-starter with proven ability to work with some direction and in somewhat ambiguous situations.
- Customer service oriented; must be flexible and adaptable to satisfy customer needs.
- Oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 3 years Minimum related work experience
