The Senior Corporate Tax Accounting Analyst will join the corporate tax team and play an integral role in quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision and SOX processes, federal compliance, and various tax planning projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, supporting the tax reporting and compliance process for an international, publicly traded company. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in tax accounting principles, with specific experience in ASC 740 and financial statement reporting.
Day to day, you'll..
- Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations, including the current and deferred tax positions, payable proofs, uncertain tax positions, effective tax rate, return-to-provision, and other various tax provision calculations and processes.
- Partner with the Tax Accounting Director and Manager to ensure quarterly and annual tax accounting SOX control processes are functioning properly and that all tax accounting requirements are fulfilled.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal teams (e.g. accounting, treasury, legal) to provide tax-related information for financial statement audits and regulatory filings.
- Lead technology and process improvements to advance compliance and provision processes.
- Model and qualify the impact of business changes, new tax legislation, and/or tax planning ideas to the ETR.
- Prepare and review various federal compliance calculations and help manage and review the completion of the federal 1120 return.
