What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at H&R Labor?
Length of Assignment: Approximately 4 months
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience handling office responsibilities, experience in customer service, or
related field
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, PowerPoint,
and Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record.
- Must be bi-lingual, English/Spanish, with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages.
- Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Events & Activities Communication. Organize & Support Employee Appreciation Luncheon. Update
Enplug Communication (TVs). Update Front Desk TV Communication. Manage Company LinkedIn
Page. Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed. Open and close the front office daily. Greet
and check in visitors. Distribute visitor badges and maintain log. Answer and direct phone calls.
Monitor office supplies and coffee supply inventory. Send list of supplies to EA to order. Lock and
unlocks mailroom, supply closet, and conference room each morning and evening. Monitor incoming
and outgoing mail and packages and organize mailroom.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Work Location: In person
