Location & Schedule

In person at the Office: 819 18th Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301. Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5PM

Directly Reports: Service Coordinator/President

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be able to maintain focus yet also be able to prioritize, multi-task and change gears quickly.
  • Takes initiative with excellent organizational/multi-tasking skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Positive, highly organized team-player.
  • Independent and capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Must be EXTREMELY detail-oriented and conscientious.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and open with a high level of integrity.
  • A pleasant and cheerful disposition, and professional demeanor.
  • Clear and excellent telephone voice.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience in administrative support role.
  • Experience creating documentation and following SOPs.
  • Experience in procurement and inventory.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Excellent customer communication.
  • Above average computer skills.
  • Ability to learn new, exciting software.
  • Accounting background. Daily duties include invoicing, A/P posting, A/R, CC reconciliations.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote).
  • Must be able to type a minimum 45 wpm.
  • Maintains accurate customer records.
  • High School or GED diploma.
  • Reliable form of transportation.
  • Experience with a ticketing system is a plus.
  • MSP industry experience a plus.
  • **Background and pre-employment drug screening required**

Physical Demands And Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the administrative assistant will be primarily in an office setting. The physical demands include, but are not limited to, standing, sitting, walking, lifting up to 25-50 LBS for delivery boxes, carrying, reaching, handling, kneeling, crouching, and bending. Office positions can be mentally challenging. As a result, this position is more mentally challenging than physically challenging. There will be extended periods of sitting required when performing administrative tasks and while attending meetings. Non-physical demands include a work environment where the noise level is usually quiet to moderate. The nature of the position may expose the administrative assistant to moderate tension when dealing with issues.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
