Job Summary
We are seeking qualified field inspectors for insurance loss control to work in the USA. The ideal candidate should have a history of direct experience completing commercial line inspections or have completed a training course such as the VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector course or its equivalent.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Receiving assignments electronically and reviewing them for inspection requirements.
- Scheduling inspection appointments with the insured via phone, email, or text.
- Inspecting properties for potential issues or hazards related to utilities, building systems, common areas, maintenance, protections, and life safety.
- Taking 20-35 exterior/interior photos and measurements using a measuring wheel or online tools.
- Interviewing the insured about operations information and ages of building systems.
- Communicating inspection status through an online application.
- Completing inspection reports on the web-based Loss Control 360 system with Rapid Sketch.
Preferred Skills
- 3-5 years' experience providing commercial insurance loss control inspections.
- Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines: property, general liability, and worker's compensation.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate well verbally and in writing.
- Comfortable completing reports online and uploading documents.
