Your Key Areas of Impact
Routine Electrical Maintenance : You conduct regular checks and maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently. This involves cleaning, adjusting, and replacing components as needed, based on detailed maintenance schedules that you help to develop and refine.
Emergency Repairs : You respond swiftly to electrical failures or malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations. Your expertise allows you to diagnose problems quickly and implement effective solutions under pressure.
System Installation and Configuration : You oversee the installation of new electrical systems, ensuring that all components are configured correctly and integrated smoothly into existing networks. Requirements :
You’ve may have received your associate’s degree from an accredited institution in electrical engineering technology or a related field, and / or you’ve spent at least four (4) years in an industrial position. You have held similar positions where you’ve exhibited a thorough understanding of electrical diagnostic equipment, electrical codes, and proper safety procedures. You hold a Journeyman Electrical license. You will work with a high-level of integrity, confidentiality, organization, and time management. You may have experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. You are familiar with AutoCad and PLC programming software, such as Siemens or Allen-Bradley.
This position requires working 12-hour shifts from 5 : 30am to 5 : 30pm for the day shift or 5 : 30pm to 5 : 30am for the night shift, following a rotating schedule of three days on and four days off, alternating with four days on and three days off. You will enjoy every other weekend off , providing a well-balanced schedule. We offer a premium shift differential of 10% for all nighttime hours, ensuring your dedication is both recognized and rewarded. Overtime pay is provided at a rate of one and one-half times the regular hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek, in accordance with federal and state labor laws.
The Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel
Your work is conducted primarily in a dynamic manufacturing setting, requiring flexibility to work in both office and production floor environments, where exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures is common, necessitating the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols. This job requires remaining in a stationary position 30% of the time, whether standing or sitting, and moving about inside the facility. This job requires manual dexterity, as it involves operating machinery, tools, or controls, and handling or manipulating objects. The job involves both close-up work and monitoring processes from a distance, as well as identifying and distinguishing colors. The ability to discern various sounds and alarms is crucial for maintaining safety and operational efficiency. This job requires operating a computer 30% of the time. This job requires the ability to be able to lift to 50 lbs.
