Your Key Areas of Impact

Excellence in Product and Process Verification: Utilizing your expertise in quality assurance, you verify and document product and process conformance to company standards and requirements. This includes collecting and analyzing samples from finished goods prior to leaving the production plant, containing and reporting suspect products and processes not in control, and conducting measurement system analysis. This ensures that only high-quality products reach our customers, maintaining our reputation and customer satisfaction. Equipment and Process Monitoring: You monitor key equipment process parameters, maintain inspection, measurement, and test equipment within the department, and perform sample layouts for production part approvals. You also efficiently process audits and contamination control sampling to ensure ongoing production meets current quality standards. By ensuring equipment and processes are functioning correctly, you help maintain consistent product quality and prevent production disruptions.

Communication and Support: Effective communication is essential as you communicate emerging and trending quality issues to prevent negative impacts on production. Providing day-to-day production support on quality concerns and developing and implementing short/long-term countermeasures to quality problems is a key part of what you do. You work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, defined plans, and written/verbal instructions to support production. Timely communication and support help in quickly resolving quality issues, maintaining smooth production flow, and ensuring high-quality output.

Problem-Solving: Leveraging your problem-solving skills, you address and resolve quality issues efficiently. Your proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential problems will help maintain high standards of product quality and reliability. Your effective problem-solving ability reduces the occurrence of defects, enhances product reliability, and improves overall customer satisfaction.

Professional Development and Qualification Maintenance: You maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
