What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lagoon Maintenance Technician 3 position at H2 Lagoon Solutions?
H2 Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated Lagoon Maintenance Technician to assist in the maintenance and operations of our 9 acre swimming lagoon. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and cleaning of the lagoon & its equipment and systems, as well as ensuring that the facility is kept clean and well-maintained.
- Perform routine cleaning of the lagoon, including but not limited to: vacuuming, brushing, skimming, and equipment operations
- Assist in the maintenance of pool water chemical balance and quality
- Assist in the preparation and execution of aquatic events, programs, and activities
- Communicate effectively with Aquatic Supervisors and Maintenance Supervisors regarding repair and maintenance needs
- High school diploma or equivalent, some technical training or certification in aquatic maintenance and repair is a plus
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems quickly and effectively
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- MUST know how to swim, and be able to work outdoors and in the water for extended periods
