About the Role:
The Construction Manager at H2BRAVO, LLC will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires a strong focus on ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing residential construction building contractors, construction support teams, interfacing with clients, and ensuring compliance with guidelines, polices, procedures and building codes. Additionally, this role involves strategic planning and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness. Ultimately, the Construction Manager will contribute to the successful delivery of residential repair and reconstruction projects that meet client expectations and meet all compliance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Construction Management or a similar role, with a minimum of 7 years in the industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, cost estimating, scheduling and building codes.
- Ability to develop and implement quality controls measures
- Proven capability to manage people and teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Construction management experience or experience as a home builder general contractor.
- Familiarity with HUD CDBG-DR housing programs or FEMA Public Assistance funding.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of construction management teams, all active projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Report to the Program Manager and the Production Manager.
- Assist with the development of program guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and supervise residential construction building contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Lead and direct construction management teams to include cost estimating, damage assessment QC, scope of Work and Cost QC, job order assignments, construction inspection and scope of work modification reviews.
- Provide technical assistance and training to contractors, stakeholders and staff
- Ensure inspection guidelines polices and procedures are being followed.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, contractors and team members to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, budgets, and progress reports.
