JOB TITLE: Wastewater Certified Grade 2 Operator
PAY RANGE: (Based on Experience & Level of Certifications)

DIVISION: Morongo, CA Project
Summary
Performs under the supervision of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Manager. This is a safety sensitive and performance-oriented position involving all phases of the wastewater treatment system. Work includes a range of tasks as they relate to the maintenance and operation of the wastewater treatment system and other assigned duties related to operation.
Duties And Responsibilities
Maintain and monitors, under supervision, a variety of water supply and wastewater treatment equipment such as: SBR, pumping systems, Mixers, Valves, Blowers, Measuring and control systems, Filtration units (ponds), Performs maintenance of plant equipment and facilities. Conducts level measurements and interprets data, performs facilities maintenance including landscaping and vegetation control, comply with all safety standards and practices as they pertain to equipment, and facility operations, performs other duties as assigned.

Employment Requirements
- Must have a CA Grade 2 or Higher wastewater certification from the State of CA.
- May require work outside of regular business hours due to 24-hour operation.
- Available for emergency response,
- Must have a telephone or ready access to a telephone at residence.
- Must possess and maintain a valid and insurable CA. Driver’s License.
- Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include standing for extended periods of time, lifting heavy loads, kneeling, crawling, and climbing.
- Familiarity with PC and mobile applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and general
- internet applications.
- Good communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills.
- Must possess intermediate math skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, chemistry, and biology.
- Trustworthy; strong personal integrity.
