POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the crew leader in carrying out assigned duties. Laborers answer to their assigned crew leader, however, they may be assigned to different crews on a daily basis wherever the need exists.

Essential Functions Statements
- Helps in repairs and construction of water lines.
- Assists in making new water taps.
- Helps in ensuring all tools are accounted for and are in clean and operative condition.
- Assists in housekeeping duties of his assigned area when requested to do so.
- Ensures all working assignments are carried out in a safe, efficient manner.
- Knowledge of operating characteristics of assigned equipment.
- Knowledge of work hazards and safety precautions.
- Must be willing to learn all assigned tasks and have good work ethics.
- Motivation to learn equipment operations for promotional opportunities.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, including Utility Partners’ department rules, policies and regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel and supervisors.
- Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner.
- Other duties assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
