Electrical Engineer 1 Salary Range: $29.00 - $42.00/ Hr.

The Electrical Engineer 1 for the Hardware Integration Group is responsible for integrating, maintaining, testing, and evaluating electrical and electronic systems for our CNC control system under the supervision of a Department Manager. This role includes a wide range of responsibilities from designing cabling systems to sustaining production activities and evaluating alternate components & assemblies. Working on-site is required.

- Design and implement cabling systems specific to electro-mechanical hardware based on best-practices.
- Write Engineering Change Orders (ECO) for Bill of Materials (BOM) modifications and/or creation.
- Oversee and manage I/O configurations for CNC control systems.
- Sustain production activities as required.
- Evaluate alternate source components and assemblies to ensure requirements are met for existing designs, sustaining, and/or cost reduction
- Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
- Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate technical ideas clearly.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have experience with general test equipment, including but not limited to, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and current probes.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications
- Honesty, integrity, and adherence to company rules, procedures, and policies.
- Knowledge of induction motors and AC servo motors is considered an asset.
- 0-5% Travel Required.
- Experience with SolidWorks routing is preferred.
- Ability to use Altium or Mentor Graphics for viewing schematics and board layout.
- Knowledge of NEC and/or NFPA79.
- MS TEAMS.
- Experience with an ERP system such as SAP or equivalent.
- Experience in electronics control cabinet design.
