Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Painter to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in refinishing, painting, and restoring cabinets to achieve a high-quality, professional finish. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of painting techniques, and the ability to work with various materials such as wood, laminate, and MDF.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cabinets by cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces.
  • Apply paint, stain, or lacquer using spray equipment, brushes, or rollers.
  • Ensure smooth and even finishes by properly prepping and sealing surfaces.
  • Repair and refinish damaged or worn cabinets.
  • Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades.
  • Work with different types of finishes, including matte, satin, semi-gloss, and high-gloss.
  • Mask and protect surrounding areas to prevent overspray or damage.
  • Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment.
  • Follow safety guidelines, including proper ventilation and handling of chemicals.
  • Communicate with clients or supervisors to meet project expectations.
  • Meet deadlines and maintain high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous expert level experience as a cabinet painter, furniture refinisher, or similar role. No beginners.
  • Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials.
  • Experience using HVLP (high-volume low-pressure) spray guns is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move cabinets or painting equipment as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
