Position Summary
Our Specialty Programs division is currently seeking an Account Administrator to join our Recreation unit. This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an administrative professional who wants to learn more about the insurance industry. The Account Administrator supports effective client relationships by providing exceptional assistance to our internal service teams with a focus on client experience.
This role primarily supports our clients in the Fair, Festival and Rodeo industry. This position performs several administrative functions that assist with the implementation, service and retention of insurance products for an assigned group of clients. This position is a vital part of the team and assists in all aspects of the day-to-day servicing of clients.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Execute client servicing tasks related to general account processing, which includes preparation of insurance certificates and evidences of insurance, ordering loss runs and preparing pre-renewal summaries.
  • Prepare binders, ID cards, and issue requests to order insurance coverage.
  • Review and process insurance policies and endorsements; print policies for our MGA division.
  • Complete database tasks related to new client set up and applications, the account renewal process, and policy maintenance.
  • Ensure high quality work is produced with a dedication to accuracy, attention to detail, and data integrity.
  • Access electronic information on insurance carrier websites.
  • Create and invoice monthly endorsements for the Program User/Vendor policies.
  • Send User Packets and follow-up emails for Vendor lists.
  • Mail Safety Bulletins and monthly statements.
  • Digitally maintain documentation of all activities utilizing the agency management system according to agency policy and procedure.
  • Maintain current and accurate client databases and electronic files.
  • Coordinate administrative responsibilities of the business unit, such as handling mail, client correspondence, and following up on and/or keeping activities current.
Requirements
A High School diploma or GED is required, some college coursework is desirable. Candidates must have at least two (2) years of experience working in an administrative or customer service role within a professional office environment. Previous experience working for an insurance agency or carrier is valued.

Candidates are required to have excellent customer service skills with ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail as well as excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and strong computer literacy for email, data entry and internet navigation is required. Experience using an agency management system is valued.
