The Grant Compliance and Process Manager oversees compliance with grant requirements, ensures efficient and accurate documentation of grant-related processes, and maintains adherence to regulatory and organizational standards. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure grants are effectively managed from application to closeout while creating and maintaining clear, detailed process documentation.
Key Responsibilities :
1 Grant Compliance :
Monitor grant agreements to ensure organizational practices adhere to funders' requirements, deadlines, and reporting obligations.
Develop enforce policies and procedures to ensure adherence to funding requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date grant terms, spending, and outcomes records.
Coordinate with finance, program, and administrative teams to track grant spending and compliance.
Prepare and submit regular compliance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
2. Workflow Documentation & Process Mapping :
Develop, document, implement and maintain detailed workflow processes and process maps across departments, identifying areas for efficiency and optimization.to support organizational consistency and scalability.
Collaborating with a team leads to analyzing current practices, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
3. Continuous Improvement :
Analyze workflow and grant compliance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Work with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for improving grant compliance and workflow efficiency.
Proactively update processes and documentation as organizational needs and grant requirements evolve.4. Training and Capacity Building :
Provide training to staff on grant compliance requirements and process documentation best practices
Foster a culture of accountability and compliance within the organization.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Administration, Non-Profit or a related field.
Three years' experience in grant administration, compliance, or related role.
Proven ability to document and streamline workflows and processes.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with process mapping software and / or grant management systems.
Knowledge of financial management and budgeting principles
Familiarity with compliance standards in a non-profit or grant-funded environment.
