Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Programs located in Wilmington, DE at Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County. The Director of Programs will lead and direct the various programs under the Family Services/Programs department including creating homeownership (homeownership and almost home (rent to own) programs), sustaining homeownership through our various repair programs and revitalizing neighborhoods through our Rock the Block programming. Participate as the leader of the program team as part of the leadership team, helping to strategize the day-to-day operations and long-term plans of the organization with the CEO and other department leaders.
Qualifications
- Experience in program management and community development
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of affordable housing programs and regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management)
- Previous experience in the housing or nonprofit sector is a plus
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
