Your Impact:
- Manage the recruitment/hiring process by creating job postings, source candidates, and coordinate interviews for retail positions. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure effective, timely hiring.
- Oversee onboarding for new hires to ensure a positive and thorough transition into the organization.
- Serve as a point of contact for retail employees regarding HR-related questions and concerns.
- Support managers with performance reviews, providing tools and guidance for constructive feedback.
- Assist with the development and implementation of performance improvement plans as needed, while proactively working to prevent the need for disciplinary actions through training, clear communication of expectations, and fostering a supportive work environment.
- Oversee a smooth offboarding process, including final pay, benefits administration, and necessary documentation.
- Accurately maintain employee records, process HR-related data.
- Reconcile invoices to ensure financial and administrative accuracy.
- Partner with retail leadership on strategic initiatives that advance the department’s mission and goals.
- Actively participate in initiatives that support retention, recognition, and workforce development aligned with organizational goals.
- Partner with the Director of People and Culture on strategic initiatives that advance the organization’s mission and goals.
- Partner with the Director of People and Culture to enhance workplace safety, focusing on injury prevention and cost-effective case management in partnership with LNI Retro Program.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employment regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and a proven track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in a nonprofit environment is desired.
