What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Commercial Office Property Manager position at Habitat Property Management?
Responsibilities:
- The assistant property manager assumes responsibility for the property portfolio when the property manager is not present.
- Assists the Property Manager with overseeing the day to-day property management responsibilities for a mixed-use portfolio that includes a campus of 8 buildings as well as 1 other building in the immediate area.
- Assists with coordination of tenant services and communication.
- Work with Property Manager to coordinate tenant move-ins/move-outs including, but not limited to prepare move-in packets, keys, and programming building fobs.
- Assists Property Managers with managing tenant and vendor projects.
- Ensures quality standards by assisting with coordinating building inspections and vendors.
- Assists with soliciting new vendor services and contractor bids when appropriate.
- Understand the scheduling of all preventative maintenance, repairs, services, grounds maintenance, HVAC maintenance, painting, cleaning and other maintenance that efficiently operates the property.
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants to ensure tenant satisfaction and to encourage lease renewal.
- Ability to thrive in a continuously changing, fast paced learning and working environment.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of property management experience.
- Highly organized with proven experience managing multiple projects.
- Previous experience in some type of technical skill; electrical, plumbing, framing, general contracting, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer focus, ability to build, develop and maintain relationships.
- Self starter, proactive

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
