What are the responsibilities and job description for the Affiliate Support Specialist position at Habitat?
SUMMARY :
This role will provide administrative support to the President & CEO and other departments as assigned by President & CEO to ensure smooth operation of the Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County Administrative Office.
The ability to interact with staff (at all levels), volunteers, donors and external entities in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
Perform all functions as follows :
Administrative
- Responsible for heavy calendar management using Microsoft Outlook to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings. This will require interaction with both internal and external constituents, including staff and board
- Assist the President and other executive staff members in preparation, dissemination and management of communications and reports. This will require excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Prepare agendas, materials, follow up items and make arrangements for committee, board, and other organization meeti
- Perform duties of receptionist for the Administrative Offices which includes greeting and announcing guests, answering and routing phone calls to the appropriate person / department and signing for incoming packages and notifying appropriate staff that package has arrived.
- Responsible for monitoring and tracking inventory for office supplies, postage / ink, copier, kitchen / bathroom products and purchasing products in a timely manner.
- Management of internal office maintenance requests.
