Job Title: Java Software Engineer (Mid-Senior Level)
Location: Plano, TX
Work Set-up: Hybrid
Salary Range: Up to $115k per year benefits (negotiable)
Job Summary:
Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level cloud-based applications. This role involves leading the architecture and database design of data integration services while leveraging AWS and full-stack development expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy cloud-native applications using Java 11/17, Spring Boot, and AWS services.
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure for web applications, ensuring security and scalability.
- Build APIs and microservices with GraphQL, Node.js, and AWS Lambda/API Gateway.
- Utilize AWS tools like EC2, S3, CloudFormation, and IAM for deployment automation and cloud security.
- Work on database design and integration using NoSQL/DynamoDB, Oracle, and RDS.
- Collaborate with Agile teams, create design documents, and manage full life cycle application development.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitbucket, Terraform, and Docker.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience for Mid Level and 6 years for Senior Level in full-stack development (Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular).
- Strong expertise in AWS services (Lambda, EC2, CloudFormation, S3, RDS).
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Git repositories, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Developer or AWS Solution Architect Associate.
