Get to Know Your Team:
- Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
The Endoscopy Tech is accountable for the care, maintenance, ordering, and stocking of the technical equipment and supplies. He/She is also responsible for creating a clean and safe environment for the care of patients.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 years’ experience in a medical environment as an Endoscopy Technician or Surgical Technologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Knowledge in the use and care of a scope re-processor.
- Knowledgeable of appropriate techniques for packaging instruments and other supplies.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Certified Endoscopy Technician (CET)
