The Support Specialist, Pathology registers specimens into the SMS system, performs a variety of clerical duties relating to patient specimens, and answers inquiries regarding the status of patient results.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs or equivalent.
- Some computer experience.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- 1 year of related work experience.
- Knowledge of Epic Registration and Beaker a plus.
