What You’ll Do:
As the Grant Accountant, under the direct supervision of our Finance Director, you will play an instrumental role in managing our grant funds, ensuring compliance, and helping to sustain the work we do. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing grant budgets and assisting in new grant applications
  • Tracking and reporting grant expenses with precision
  • Ensuring strict adherence to grant compliance
  • Seamlessly moving between general ledger accounting duties and grants-related tasks as part of our versatile accounting team
What We’re Looking For:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration with an accounting major from an accredited college preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in accounting and/or finance preferred.
Skills:
  • Professional and accurate written and verbal communication
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, data analysis, etc.)
  • Experience with grant financial reporting is a plus
  • Healthcare industry knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • High integrity and commitment to confidentiality
