Position Summary

The Grant Administrator for the Women's Resource Center seeks and applies for federal, state, and private foundation grants to support the programs and services of the agency, which serves survivors of domestic and sexual violence. This position reports to the Executive Director and is a member of the Fundraising Team . The Grant Administrator collaborate with organizational leadership to develop compelling proposals and manages grant reports to ensure adherence to grant terms. The Grant Administrator oversees all grants management functions, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines and regulations.

Position Status, Classification and Schedule
This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt and/or contract position. There is the potential for growth into a full-time position. The work schedule is flexible, but preferably during normal business day hours.

The WRC utilizes a compressed workweek for Full Time staff including a 100-80-100 concept. 100% pay, 80% schedule and 100% focus on providing exceptional service to survivors and customers while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.   • Demonstrated success in securing and administering large, multi-year public grant projects resulting in new programs or initiatives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment.
  • Thorough knowledge of grant proposal processes, programs, and grants administration policies and procedures, including knowledge of federal regulations and guidelines that govern the conduct of federal grants following OMB circulars.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members, leadership, and external partners.
  • Willingness to make presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to successfully manage competing demands.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports the mission, vision, and values of the Women's Resource Center.
  • Uses effective interpersonal skills at all times.
  • Administers all activities related to identifying, defining, developing, analyzing, and monitoring federal, state, and private foundation grant funding to support existing and planned program activities.
  • Oversees pre-and post-award activities for the agency, including various program areas.
  • Coordinates and drafts grant applications and proposals; edit, compile, and submit progress and final reports.
  • Manages relationships with representatives of private foundations, community partner organizations, and internal stakeholders.
  • Works with the Chief Financial Officer and project leads to manage grant funds.
  • Coordinates with team members to ensure the integrity of financial transactions and contractual agreements and ensures all grant follow OMB circulars.
  • Develops compelling grant requests and applications through collaborative team input.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, legal, and corporate compliance standards, including timelines, and provide additional information as needed.
  • Prepares data and summary reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assists in creating policies and procedures to maintain best practices for securing and disbursing grant funds.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in state and/or federal, foundation grant writing and/or grants management.
