Hackney Petroleum, Inc. is looking for a candidate to oversee all marketing initiatives/activities. Based out of Knoxville, TN, Hackney Petroleum, Inc and is responsible for 26 convenience stores across East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. The marketing manager position at Hackney Petroleum is responsible for a wide array of creative ownership. These include but are not limited to:
· Developing marketing strategies through social media
· Overseeing and implementing consumer engagement activities
· Regularly meeting with and maintaining relationships with sales representatives and account managers
· Developing and implementing promotional activities
· Managing the creation and distribution of signage
· Creating and maintaining the overall look of the company
· Overseeing and implementing training of employees at the store level
· Creating brand awareness and loyalty
· Regular presentations with updates of the marketing department to colleagues and superiors
· Building a weekly newsletter with updates on current projects and sales data
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications
· 1-3 years of prior marketing or sales experience
· Experience is preferred in retail/convenience
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must be able to build relationships with all ages and career levels
· Must have an eagerness to take on new projects and creatively drive them in a timely manor
· Must be able to manage and lead people well through various marketing campaigns
