Overview:
The Assistant Planner will assist the Global Planning team and the Sales team with multiple aspects of merchandise planning to enhance sales and profitability for the area.
Key Accountabilities:
- Compile historical financial information on product performance
- Develop and apply analytical, strategic and creative problem-solving skills
- Assist in Pre/Post Seasonal Planning
- Run seasonal post mortem analysis to drive buys of purchasing to achieve sales goals
- Assist with all levels of sales analysis
- Maintain data entry
- Input Seasonal Buy Entry into CPA system
- Work closely with both Planning and Sales teams on gathering all relevant data for meeting with accounts and participate in meetings as appropriate
- Special projects as needed
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Fashion Merchandising or related field
- Prior Internship and/or related experience in planning and analysis
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (must have advanced excel skills)
