Termite and Pest Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points.
• Apply appropriate pest control treatments using various methods.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for pest control tasks.
• Collaborate with clients to educate them on pest prevention strategies and maintenance practices.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and follow-up actions.
• Operate farm machinery as needed for specific pest control applications in larger outdoor areas.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide exceptional customer service and support collaboration efforts in promoting pest control services.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during service delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
• Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with lawn care, landscaping, and general maintenance practices is a plus.
• Ability to operate power tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of the job is crucial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
