Job DetailsInternship projects vary depending on the needs of both the student and the business. Haemonetics interns are assigned to a meaningful project within the company to acquire a variety of experiences, try different skills, and learn what a future career might offer while also contributing to our innovation agenda by completing business-critical projects and assignments. The Accounting Internship will be located onsite 3 days/2 days remote per week in our downtown Boston HQ located at 125 Summer St.

What You Will Do:
The Accounting Intern will work on projects to transform and improve our current accounting processes. This includes identifying gaps, proposing improvements and implementing changes to become more efficient and effective.
Summarize all intercompany pricelists and current intercompany relationships. Then, work with Tax Dept and Inventory Ops Dept to determine the updated price..
Implement change with our Oracle Data Management team.
Gather and transform data to ensure completeness and accuracy allowing Business users ability to search for, build better analytics, etc. off of the data.
Interact with new ERP Conversion/Implementation for data conversion analysis.
Education/Skills:
Undergraduate in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or relevant business field of study
Coursework in Accounting and/or tax a plus
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Advanced Excel Skills preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed and able to work without supervision
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
