This role will support the company’s leadership team to identify, model, understand and predict sales trends and business outcomes. Analysts should enjoy building fact-based narratives using actionable insights that drive operating alignment with sales leadership objectives. This role requires strong reporting and analytical skills, the ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing teams, product/category managers, and sales representatives. The ideal candidate will be proficient in tools like Excel, Power Query, Power BI , and other business intelligence software to generate sales forecasts, actionable insights, and data visualizations. By addressing complex data and market trends, the sales analysts play a vital role in aligning business goals with actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing data. Reviewing and interpreting complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and patterns that inform decision-making processes.
- Preparing sales forecasts. Develops accurate and data-driven sales forecasts to guide strategic planning and resource allocation across departments.
- Creating sales reports. Designing detailed sales reports and dashboards using tools like Excel and Power BI and Power Automate to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track performance metrics.
- Supporting the sales. Work with management to enhance processes, refine strategies, and achieve sales goals effectively.
- Evaluating market trends. Support the department’s initiatives of in-depth market research and analysis to ensure sales strategies align with evolving customer needs and market conditions.
- Monitoring pricing strategies. Assess pricing models and profitability, providing recommendations to optimize revenue generation.
- Collaborating with stakeholders. Work with stakeholders across departments to align sales initiatives with broader organizational objectives.
- Providing actionable insights. Deliver data-driven insights to stakeholders, aiding in strategic decisions that improve sales performance and drive business growth.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Management, Operations, or related field and minimum of 2 years related Industry Experience (Sales Insights & Analytics)
- 2 years' experience in data analytics, performance reporting
- Certification in Microsoft Power Platforms
- Experience with SAP and ERP systems
