Job Summary:
Support the company in making strategic business decisions and establishing business strategy in order to contribute to the achievement of financial and operational objectives. Utilize financial models, reports, and business intelligence tools to provide insights into the financial health of the business, optimize profitability, and guide strategic decision-making. This position will work closely with senior leadership, operations, and other departments to ensure financial goals are met and risks are mitigated.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist with annual budget and reforecasting.
- Help develop internal models for strategic business opportunities.
- Assist with periodic forecasting to aid senior management in decision making.
- Create ad hoc reports to analyze internal data to assist different departments with decision making and identify areas for optimization.
- Perform market research.
- Other duties as assigned.
Expectations:
- Prepare the annual budget for multiple locations and business units.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly actual to budget performance including analysis of data.
- Identify trends, variances and areas of concern.
- Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective business intelligence.
- Work with senior management on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: capital planning and tracking, return on investment of strategic initiatives, event tracking and execution.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and guidance for decision-making including new site openings, expansions or acquisitions.
- Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support pricing strategies and business investments.
- Evaluate and advise on the financial viability of promotions, marketing campaigns and loyalty programs.
- Assist with the development of key performance indicators, financial analytics and other ad-hoc reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for the executive team or other third-party stakeholders.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Mathematics/Information Technology or related subject matter experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to synthesize and analyze data and put conclusions in a well communicated format.
- Strong Excel skills focused on summarizing, extracting or comparing large volumes of data.
- Knowledge of the working of standard accounting software packages (preferably MS Dynamics Business Central)
- Experience with SQL and PowerBI, preferred but not required.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Compensation:
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications. For the purpose of this role, the minimum salary opportunity is: PAY $105,000/ year.
