Key Responsibility Areas
- Assures all inventory is ready for sales associates to show in the showrooms and the sales marina docks. Inventory is clean, easily accessed, organized, signed properly, in operating condition and safe for customers to access.
- Directs customers to sales team members if in the sales area or if they have questions about inventory.
- Maintains Sales Areas to the highest standards.
- Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to transport boats to our locations
- Must be able to drive forklift
Major Duties
- Replaces sold boats as directed.
- Cleans all sales boats daily.
- Places boats in proper inventory position whether sold or unsold.
- Make sure all inventory is covered and protected from weather every day and at night when the sales department is closed.
- Ensures Boats in Sales Slips are secure and protected from damage.
- Keeps equipment in good working order
- Maintain cleaning supplies and be ready for boats at all times..
- Strips all new boats of plastics and stickers for display.
- Assists in physically delivering boats to final destination when required.
- Assists Delivery Captain with getting the boats ready for customer delivery.
- Help with final inspection prior to customer taking delivery.
- Cut/print registration numbers for boats and trailers.
- Reports all lot damage or malfunctioning boats to the Director of Sales.
- Ensure boats are maintained in presentable fashion; i.e., gas, cleanliness, etc.
- Ensure walkways and entrances to all showrooms are free of debris, ice and snow at all times.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Maintains sales facility to the highest standards.
- Schedule Requirements and Physical Demands:
- Able to work an average of 40 hours per week.
- Able to work a variety of shifts, which include weekends, nights, days, and holidays.
- Able to walk and stand on your feet 8 to 10 hours at a time.
- Able to walk on tile, carpet, and up and down stairs.
- Able to work in inclement weather conditions.
