Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in daycare and caregiving, with a focus on fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in educating and guiding children through their early developmental stages, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive learning experiences.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized care: feeding, diapering, and napping
- Ensuring a safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate classroom
- Supporting infant development through songs, reading, and play
- Communicating daily with families and working closely with teammates
- Maintaining documentation and following licensing regulations
Qualifications (per CDSS):
- 12 ECE units including 3 units in Infant/Toddler Development
- At least 6 months of experience in an infant care setting
- Pediatric CPR & First Aid certified
- Background clearance, TB test, and immunizations required
