Counter Sales & Service Representative Role
The Counter Sales & Service Representative’s mission is to provide excellent customer service through assisting walk in clientele and routinely scheduled service appointments.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and help them find the right product for their job
- Manage incoming customer requests through phone and email
- Write up orders and process payments in a timely manner
- Resolve all customer requests - expediting special orders and back orders
- Assist with the daily operations and upkeep of the business - counter, showroom, and warehouse
- Restock the showroom when new merchandise arrives
- Maintain pneumatic tools for service accounts
- Schedule on site service calls
- Schedule product delivery
- Manage parts inventory in service vehicle according to the scope of tool population with your accounts
- Inform customers of new products/offers related to their type of work
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling and service strategies and marketing information
- Maintain customer contact for service and product needs and communicate any changes or concerns to the service manager or assigned sales representative
- Arrange delivery of products and equipment
- Ability to repair or replace defective equipment parts using the necessary tools and equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance for customers
- Represent the company with integrity
- All other responsibilities assigned
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Work within the Product Distribution Network, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Accounting, and Operations
- Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
- Clean driving record
- Creative Problem Solving, Analytical Thinking, and communication skills
- MS Office Applications & Internet Usage, Project/Outlook
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This role routinely travels in a car or van. This role also works in an office environment with some time spent in a warehouse environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Travel requirements are up to 50% of the role, no overnight travel is required.
