Customer Service
The Customer Service role will be responsible for providing excellent service to meet all needs of the customer.

Responsibilities
- Assisting walk-in customers with sales at store counter
- Assist Outside sales team via supporting sales related requests
- Order and Data entry including quotes, shipping, tendering, and information updates in computer system
- Assisting Branch Manager with branch daily sales operations (counter, inside, showroom functions)
- Respond to customer phone and e-mail inquiries
- Helps branch restock and order fulfillment by assisting with inventory check-in, stock, sorting, and shipping functions
- Investigate customer complaints and provide resolution
- Check on customer’s order status and provide updates
- Identify customer needs and provide product solutions
- Responsible for showroom appearance - keep showroom clean and organized
- Support the service department as required
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in Customer Service or retail work desirable
- Must be able to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to deal with internal and external customers in a professional manner in person, on the phone and in e-mail correspondence
- Basic math, creative problem solving and communication skills
- Computer skills including MS Office applications, internet, and Epicor Prophet 21
- Demonstrate good business sense
- 1-2 Years of experience preferred
- H.S. Diploma/GED preferred
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This role works in an office environment with some time spent in a warehouse environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
