What You’ll Do
As our Fleet Mechanic, you’ll:
- Help design and implement preventive maintenance programs for golf carts and fleet equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to keep everything running efficiently.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and secure workspace for yourself and the team.
- Manage inventory for replacement parts and supplies with precision and care.
- Train team members on the safe use of equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Step in to support the team wherever needed to uphold Haig Point’s exceptional standards.
What You Bring to the Team
- At least 2 years of experience in golf course mechanics or small engine repair.
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred).
- Technical know-how to maintain and repair a variety of fleet and golf equipment.
- A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
What to Expect
This role is active and hands-on, with occasional lifting (up to 100 lbs.), operating machinery, and working with tools like golf carts, tractors, and mechanical equipment.
Your Tools Include:
- Golf and utility carts
- Mechanical tools (wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Equipment lifts and heavy machinery
