Summary:

Haigh-Farr is a premier antenna design, manufacturing and test house developing products used

across all platforms in the aerospace industry including missions to Mars, the International Space

Station and products fielded to the U.S. Military supporting the warfighter. In our over 50-year

history we have enjoyed steady, planned growth. Haigh-Farr plans to further grow our team and

Haigh-Farr is seeking a Controller to oversee the Company’s financials. The Controller will be

responsible for all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting,

budgeting, compliance with government contracting standards, and internal controls. This role is

critical in supporting the Company’s mission by ensuring financial stability and compliance. The

individual is expected to work efficiently with the ability ensure continued support and positive

interactions within the organization. This position works collaboratively with internal departments,

and requires strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.

• Develop and monitor annual budget, forecast financial outcomes, and manage cash flow to

• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure

• Manage indirect rate calculations and allocations, ensuring proper cost segregation and

• Manage deferred revenue to ensure timely revenue recognition.

• Provide strategic financial advice to leadership to support business growth and operational

• Serve as primary contact for external auditors.
  

Knowledge & Skills:

Controller

• Excellent accounting skills. Experience with monthly closings, account analysis, etc.

• Experience with Visibility or similar ERP system.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft and Project.

• Independent, self- starter, with the ability to multi-task.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting preferred.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a Manufacturing Company.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance.
