Our team creates maps that depict areas impacted by severe weather to help our clients accurately and efficiently locate the most severely impacted properties. We're looking for a meteorologist to join our growing team of severe weather experts.
Compensation:$38,000 - $48,000 yearly
Responsibilities:This role includes:
- Analyzing ongoing and historical severe thunderstorms, including mapping severe hail, winds and tornadoes.
- Creating address specific forensic severe weather history reports
- Helping create graphics and data for weather events and daily forecasts.

- Have a keen interest in severe weather events
- Have a bachelor's or higher degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science
- Have experience using radar interrogation software like GRAnalyst or Radarscope
- Have familiarity with dual-pol radar products
- Have a flexible schedule that may include working nights and weekends as the weather dictates.
- Are well organized and detail oriented.
- Enjoy learning new things and performing severe weather research
- Can work well in a collaborative group setting
- Are proficieint with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
