What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Technician - Part time position at HairClub?
For this role, you will work the following schedule:
First Tuesday of every month: 7am-4pm (or earlier/later if needed)
Thursday: 7am-4pm (or earlier/later if needed)
Last Friday of every month: 7am-4pm (or earlier/later if needed)
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform separation, placement and proper handling of grafts per physician's instruction through the use
of microscopes and magnification loupe - Maintain efficiency rates above company minimum standard as determined by Medical Technician
Supervisor in cutting and placing of grafts - Assist Physician during hair transplant surgery and guarantee patient comfort throughout the hair
transplant procedure - Set up surgical rooms, maintain clean surgical rooms and sterilizes instruments utilized for the surgical
procedures by observing safety and occupational safety and health administration (“OSHA”) protocols - Prepare patient charts and assist with proper documentation
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
- $22.00- $25.00 an hour based on experience
MANAGEMENT AND COLLABORATION:
- Collaborates with Physician during hair transplant surgery
- Collaborates with Medical Technician Supervisors with patient communication
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical Technician certification preferred
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (“CPR”) certification
- Basic Life Support (“BLS”) certification preferred
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be a CNA
