Hair Salon Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Sanitate all tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment for both clients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist stylists with various tasks, including preparing clients for services, applying hair coloring, and performing hair blowdry as needed.
• Support retail sales by upselling products and services, contributing to the overall success of the salon.
• Maintain inventory levels of salon products and assist in store management tasks as required.
• Mentor junior staff or interns, sharing knowledge about best practices in salon operations and customer service.

Qualifications

• A background in cosmetology is preferred but not required; passion for the beauty industry is essential.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
• Basic understanding of retail math to assist with sales tracking and inventory management.
• Experience with hair extensions, hair threading, or other specialized techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $124.00 - $125.00 per day

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
