Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Manager to lead the administrative operations of our growing Home Health Agency. The ideal candidate will have strong employee management experience, with the ability to effectively oversee office functions, support field staff, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. While experience in home health is preferred, we welcome candidates with a strong administrative background in healthcare or related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of office administration, ensuring efficient processes and regulatory compliance.
- Manage office staff including administrative assistants, schedulers, and support personnel.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to support scheduling, documentation, and patient admissions.
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive, productive work environment.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of patient records, referrals, authorizations, and visit documentation.
- Support payroll processes, timesheet collection, and HR administrative tasks.
- Manage office supplies, vendors, and day-to-day facility needs.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal communication between the office and field staff.
- Assist with audits, accreditation preparations, and compliance efforts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in office or administrative management.
- Experience supervising employees in a healthcare or service setting is required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in home health, healthcare, or a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with home health EMR systems (e.g., Kinnser, Axxess, HCHB).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
