Position Summary:
We are looking for Construction Laborers to join our growing and award winning team in Tahoe, CA.
*Full-time position
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Installing conduits
- Setting vaults
- Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project.
- Clears and prepares work areas.
- Spotter to heavy equipment operators.
- Performs demolition.
- Digging trenches; Backfill trenches when necessary.
- Load and unload equipment and materials.
- Assist crew members in manual labor and shovel work, operate power tools, and install concrete and asphalt.
- Maintain a clean job site- pick up tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
- Ability to lift heavy objects 50lbs. on a regular basis, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor under adverse field conditions.
- Must have knowledge of proper use and safety of equipment, tools, materials and supplies used in construction.
- Follow direction of the Superintendent/General Superintendent with regards to daily production schedule and activities
Qualifications:
- 2 years of construction experience
- Ability to lift heavy objects 50 lbs.
- Walking/Standing/Bending for long periods of time
- Perform strenuous physical labor in outdoor elements
- Required to have valid Driver’s License
- Required to pass pre-employment drug test/physical/background check
