Hal Hays Construction, Inc. is looking for an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our talented and award-winning team in Brownsville, TX as we grow our company to the next level!
As the Project Manager/Estimator, you'll be primarily responsible for construction and commissioning of major facility infrastructure projects including emergency construction and service restorations. This includes being involved in the areas of pre-planning, budgeting, resource allocation, contract negotiation, and subcontractor coordination. This position may require you to manage one or more projects concurrently.
This position requires the ensurement of constant compliance with regulatory, safety and company requirements, policies and best practices while seeking continuous improvement and development of best practices to meet major facility development and construction needs. Attention to detail, data analysis, the ability to prioritize and execute, problem solve, and have excellent documentation skills.
Classification (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Exempt (salaried)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage critical facility and industrial projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project bids.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimating within the industrial and critical facilities sector.
- Proficiency in project management software and estimating tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test/physical/background check.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
