Wage: $20 - $22 per hour, based on experience

Role Overview:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician ensures a safe, tidy, and efficient workspace through proactive maintenance and multifaceted shop support such as cleaning, parts washing, and aiding inventory.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance on equipment and upkeep facility areas.
• Keep the shop tidy: manage floors, dispose of trash, and maintain common spaces.
• Assist machinists by cleaning parts and preparing for inspection/packaging.
• Facilitate shipping and receiving: package, label, and organize orders.
• Move materials and tools between departments as needed.
• Monitor and replenish consumables and shop supplies.
• Ensure safety protocols and cleanliness are systematically upheld.

Experience & Skills:

• Preferably 1 years in manufacturing or a practical shop setting.
• Technical skillset with a readiness to learn maintenance tasks.
• Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, like lifting 50 lbs and standing long hours.
• Keen attention to detail and strong work ethos.
• Forklift certification desirable but not required.
