About the role
As a Brand Manager, you are the guardian of your brand, ensuring that every marketing initiative maximizes its value. Your role is pivotal in developing and implementing local brand strategies and plans and executing in-year plans to drive success. You hold the reins to maximize penetration potential, market share, and P&L delivery for your brand across your market(s).
You will collaborate closely with the Category Marketing Manager / Marketing Lead and Category Leads at the Business Unit level, while aligning with guidelines from the global category team. Your insights and creativity will be key in shaping the brand's presence and impact.
This opportunity reports to the Marketing Manager/Marketing Lead Nordics and is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Key responsibilities
- Act as a brand custodian reacting and responding in an agile way to local trends, changed consumer behaviour and helping to mine local insights.
- Drive annual brand strategy & planning process in line with category & BU guidelines whilst taking local needs into account.
- Develop and implement marketing activities based on the annual plan (RGM).
- Responsible for implementation of holistic and connected country(s) communication & media plans, incl. digital, web & PR
- Locally implement campaigns including tracking and evaluation of results
- Management of content and updates of local brand websites & digital platforms
- Lead brand Portfolio and Innovation agenda and secure excellent execution in country launch plans.
- Responsible for artwork execution of the respective portfolio.
- Responsible to deliver brand KPIs with strong focus on driving penetration, turnover, market share and profitability.
- Systematically review multiple data sources to track brand and competitor performances, proactively recommending course correction activities if required.
- Input to sales forecasting and monthly reporting Responsible for Advertising & Promotion budget for the brand in the local market(s)
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, relevant acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience with proven track record of achievements in leading FMCG and/or Consumer Healthcare companies
- Commercial understanding managing the brand from a P&L perspective
- Experience in planning and executing data driven digital marketing campaigns
- Strong analytic, strategic and organizational skills
- Demonstrated brand leadership capabilities, and the ability to work and engage within a cross-functional team
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge and experience of the consumer retail environment in Nordics
- Fluent in Danish and English

- Passion for and commitment to brands and brand building
- Good grasp of new trends and consumer insights
- Media and marketing effectiveness savviness
- Experience navigating a complex matrix organization
