Job Details
The primary function of this position is responsible for a team of residents to render general nursing care in accordance with state and federal guidelines. You'll be responsible for administering approved nursing techniques to prescribed medications and treatments. Prepares and aids the Physicians during treatments and examinations of residents. Continuously observes residents for any significant conditions and reactions of residents and notifies Nurse Supervisor or Physician of resident's conditions or reaction to drugs, treatments and incidents.
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Wisconsin
- Prior long-term care experience or post acute care preferably
- Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to apply basic principles of nursing care
