What are the responsibilities and job description for the Countertop Fabricator position at Half Price Baths?
Bathroom & Kitchen Countertop contractor with all tools, shop, & complete bath & kitchen countertop demolition and installation capabilities.
You must have your own insurance and have lived & worked in DFW for at least 5 years, along with having all of your equipment/tools with you in the North Dallas metro area. No exceptions.
For consideration, you must have completed at least 10 full bathroom countertops or 10 kitchen countertops within the last 6 months. If you are not currently working in bathrooms and kitchens please do not apply.
You will be required to submit photos of your work and specifically your demo and installation work. If you do not have that experience please do not apply.
You must be able to work on a job site without promoting your own company via your marked vehicle, wearing clothes or by directly promoting yourself to Renaissance's customers directly for additional work on the side. If you have an issue with this, then please do not apply.

Our pay scale is labor only is up to (all materials provided by your shop are expected to be at below retail prices as we are currently getting gouged with fabricators over charging us for the cost of the slabs. If this is an issue and you plan to overcharge us for slabs of quartz and granite, please do not apply) $900-1500 per small bathroom up to $2000-3000 for master bathroom. Kitchens pay 3-5000 for countertops, backsplash, and plumbing.
Requirements:
- Just be drug-free, polite, kind, and professional as a subcontractor for our company.
- You must have your tools & transportation.
- You must pass a background check & not have any felonies.
- Your previous employers will be contacted & you must have at least 3 references.
- You must show pictures of your previous work in bathroom & kitchen remodeling & have established relationships with vendors in the DFW metro area.
- If you are dishonest about how many slabs you need to purchase in order to increase your profit, this is not the place for you.
