Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Subsurface Utility Engineer to join our team in Temple Terrace, FL. As a Subsurface Utility Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with Field SUE services, reviewing as-built drawings and design plans to understand existing utility routes, collaborating with field manager and other team members in providing field sketches and other pertinent information relating to specific projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various electromagnetic locating equipment to locate and mark underground utilities within prescribed accuracy limits.
- Read and interpret utility plans/prints to identify the type and size of underground utilities.
- Provide accurate documentation and/or sketches related to locates completed.
- Collaborate with field manager and other team members in providing field sketches and other pertinent information relating to specific projects.
Requirements:
- ~1 years of locating/designating experience.
- ~Valid State Florida driver's license.
- ~Vac Truck experience a plus.
- ~Strong Proficiency with Vacuum Excavator.
- ~Utility designating through (EM)Electro-Magnetic equipment.
- ~Experience with (GPR) Ground Penetrating Radar preferred.
