Full-Time Academic and Student Affairs Position
Responsibilities:
- Manage departmental affairs and collaborate with the School Chair to oversee faculty recruitment, hiring processes, and budget management.
- Work closely with the School of Career and Technical Education to develop curriculum scheduling, textbook orders, and student success initiatives.
- Present instruction based on student learning outcomes and performance levels.
- Implement teaching methods tailored to various learning styles.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Offer a minimum of five office hours per week for student advising and support.
- Assist in ordering and inventorying departmental supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with the Learning Resource Center to select and maintain educational resources.
- Submit timely reports and records as required.
- Enforce college policies and regulations, and initiate student alerts when necessary.
- Serve on various college committees and represent the College at special events.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Human Services or Social Work, or 18 graduate credits in Human Services or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience teaching college-level Human Services courses, curriculum development, and hands-on human and social services experience.
- Technological proficiency is essential.
